Welfare-To-Work

Welfare-to-Work helps clients prepare for work and find a job. Case Managers assist to develop appropriate plans for each individual and to provide supportive services such as childcare, transportation and counseling.

Welfare-to-Work activities include

  • employment

  • working for experience

  • community service

  • on-the-job-training

  • work study

  • self-initiated programs

  • adult basic education

  • jobs skills training

  • vocational training

  • education directly related to employment

  • diploma or GED instruction

All participants must meet required hours and make satisfactory progress to remain eligible for this program.

Certain exemptions may apply. Case Managers discuss program requirements and regulations during your interview and orientation.
