This Social Services
division provides protection and intervention services for abused and
at-risk children; supportive services to help children find safe, stable
and permanent homes when theirs are not; and transition services to
living independently. For elderly or dependent adults who are
threatened with harm, abuse or exploitation, intervention and continuing
support services are provided.
