The Department of Social Services assists qualified families and individual in receiving assistance that will help them to be healthier.  These programs include:

Food Stamps

Medi-Cal

County Medical Services Program (CMSP)

Healthy Families

If you do not qualify for Medi-Cal, then the Healthy Families may be an option for you to consider.  Healthy Families is low cost insurance for children and teens.  It provides health, dental and vision coverage to children who do not have insurance and do not qualify for free Medi-Cal.  To learn more about Healthy Families, visit California Healthy Families or call 1-800-880-5303.
