The Department participates in collaborative,
interagency projects and services including

Children’s System of Care/Wraparound Services.
The Department has joined with the Mental Health Department, Plumas
County schools, the Plumas County Probation Department and other public
and private agencies to provide services to the County’s most troubled

Public Health Nursing. The Department has
partnered with the Public Health Agency to provide public health nursing
services in our Children’s and Adult Protective Services programs.

Domestic Violence. The Department provides
financial support for domestic violence services that are delivered by
the Probation Department to CalWORKs recipients.

Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Services. The
Department provides funds and partners with Mental Health for mental
health and substance abuse services delivered to CalWORKs recipients and
provided at the One-Stop Employment Center.

Independent Living Services and Emancipated Youth
Stipends. The Department has partnered with Plumas Crisis
Intervention and Resource Center to deliver services to youth who are
transitioning out of the Foster Care System.

has partnered with Plumas Rural Services to develop new child care
resources for families.

Adult Protective Services Joint Investigations.
The Department funds support services from the Plumas County District
Attorney to conduct investigations abuse of elderly and disabled Plumas
