About DSS

The Plumas County Department of Social Services/Public Guardian and Conservator offices are located in the Plumas County Annex at 270 County Hospital Road in Quincy, California.

Driving Directions:

From Portola: Follow Highway 70 northwest through Quincy. Just past the airport, turn left onto Golden Eagle Avenue, then immediately turn right onto County Hospital Road. Total distance from Portola is 33.9 miles.

From Greenville: Follow Highway 89 southwest toward Highway 70. Turn left onto Highway 70. Follow Highway 70 for approximately 9 miles. Turn right onto Golden Eagle Avenue, then immediately turn right onto County Hospital Road. Total distance from Greenville is 20.9 miles.

From Chester: Follow Highway 36 west to Highway 89. Turn left onto Highway 89 and travel for 33.4 miles to Highway 70. Turn left onto Highway 70 for 8.9 miles. Turn right onto Golden Eagle Avenue, then immediately turn right onto County Hospital Road. Total distance from Chester is 44.95 miles.
