STELLA FAY MILLER MEZZANINE GALLERY

Named for museum benefactress Stella Fay Miller, the gallery features local artists on a two-month showing basis. Historical items augment these popular exhibitions, and the open floor plan gives the museum a spacious feeling.

STELLA FAY MILLER MEZZANINE GALLERY ART SCHEDULE FOR 2009:

November/December: John Sheehan & Heather McQuarrie - Plumas ... And Beyond!  Reception at 5 p.m., Friday, November 6th.  This show is a collaboration between two local amateur artists in different media.  McQuarrie, in this, her first show, displays photographic interpretations of various sights, flora and fauna, primarily in Plumas County.  A long-time Quincy resident, Heather works in both color and black and white.  Sheehan has shown his works before through Plumas Arts and uses color in oils, pastels, acrylics, colored pencil, pen and ink.  Both artists are amazed at where they get to live and what they get to see.
