WHAT IS THE PLUMAS COUNTY MUSEUM ASSOCIATION?

The Plumas County Museum Association, Inc., formed in 1971, is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, private, membership sponsored non-profit society dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting the history of Plumas County through the Plumas County Museum. It is governed by a membership elected seven member Board of Trustees.

The museum association owns and maintains the 1878 Coburn-Variel Home as well as the 1859 Goodwin Law Office, the oldest continually used law office in the State of California.
